Jacksonville

Our third venture to Florida takes us far to the north of the state. Jacksonville is the Florida's oldest city, and due to consolidated boundaries, its "largest" (though by no means its largest metro area). Its current rail service consists of a peripheral Amtrak station and small "people-mover" system in the downtown area. This proposed system adds 4 new rail lines and expands one of the people-mover lines to connect at two new interchanges.

Lines

  • Cyan people-mover:  2 miles, 6 stations
  • Blue people-mover: 4 miles, 9 stations (4 new)
  • Purple: 28 miles, 19 stations
  • Red: 32 miles, 16 stations
  • Orange: 9 miles, 7 stations
  • Green: 10 miles, 7 stations
